The clinically proven classic+ two-piece anti-colic system is integrated into the teat, making the bottle easier to assemble and clean. The advanced valve on the teat opens to allow air into the bottle instead of baby's tummy, preventing colic. The valve also flexes to baby's feeding rhythm. Reinvented to Use Fewer Parts
As your baby grows, replace the Classic+ teats from newborn, slow, medium, fast and variable flow rates, to match your baby’s development. Remember that age indications are approximate, as babies develop at different rates. You will know when your baby is ready to move onto a faster flow rate because he or she will try to suck harder to get the milk more quickly.
Philips Avent Bottle compatibility
The Classic+ Anti-Colic feeding bottle has also been designed to be fully compatible and easily interchangeable with other products in the Avent range including breast milk storage containers, easy sip cups and breast pumps. This allows your bottles to be usable from the transition from baby to toddler. All Classic+ bottles can be used in any of the Avent sterilisers and bottle warmers. Philips Avent Tips for Bottle Feeding
- Clean and sterilise all feeding parts before each use
- Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or anti-bacterial cleaners with bottles and teats
- Wash your hands thoroughly and ensure surfaces are clean before handling sterilized components
- For inspection of the teat, pull it in each direction
- Throw away bottle and teats at the first sight of damage, weakness or scratching
- Replace teats and spouts after 3 months use
- Do not warm milk in a microwave as this may cause uneven heating and could scald your baby
- Always check the milk temperature before feeding
- Do not allow your baby to play with small parts or run or walk while feeding
